The marque
Princess was founded in 1965 in Plymouth as Marine Projects (Plymouth) Ltd — its first boat, the Project 31, was fitted out in a rented shed across the water from the shipyard it still occupies today.

At 16 metres the Princess V50 sits in the size class where the tender usually lives on the swim platform or a compact davit — so weight counts as much as length. We generally steer owners here toward the lighter end of the fleet: a boat that launches without ceremony.
